Hello again! Today we have a very exciting journey through the fifth largest city in Texas...Fort Worth! (Fun fact: a famous hotel chain in Fort Worth called the Stockyard Hotels served as a secret hideout for the notorious duo Bonnie & Clyde?) Fort Worth features many shopping centers, entertainment options, and even a few museums that operate with a charming old-western spin to give tourists a glimpse into the old days of gunslingers, outlaws, bandits, and of course, the cowboys. While it ranks as being only the 15th largest city in the U.S., there’s plenty about this city’s 974,00 residents that make it seem larger than life: over 31k of these residents are confirmed vapers! And you know that with so many cloud chasers in a single city, there needs to be a plentiful number of vape shops to satisfy the need for new juice, fresh coils, and sturdy hardware. So let’s take a look at five beautiful vape shops I happened to come across, and see what makes Fort Worth “worthy” of your time!
1. Vapor Plus Lounge
First up, we have Vapor Plus Lounge in our local Fort Worth vape shops. Google rates them a 4.8 out of over 80 reviews, and with a lounge as my first stop, I decided to check them out. I walked through the doors and my eyes were immediately drawn to a vibrantly green wall that gave a delicious burst of color to the place. The brick wall behind the counter reminded me of a chimney, and the simplicity of the entire shop was very calming. A blackboard on the green wall advertised the deal of the day, and the kind lady behind the counter greeted me and informed me of their rewards program, should I be interested in any of their products. A comfy looking leather was directly underneath the blackboard, and a green rug accented the wall, giving the place a relaxed living room feel. The atmosphere was calming, and the staff were friendly and inviting. Their hardware was smartly located in a glass case, cut right into the wooden counter, and a several name brand juices like One Hit Wonder and 7Daze were located on a shelf behind the counter, along with some unfamiliar brands like Roundstone Reserve and Hometown Hero. I asked if they did in-house juices, to which they proudly informed me that they do! I tried a cool spearmint flavor and was pleased to discover that it wasn’t too harsh or icy, but had a pleasant cooling sensation along with a flavorful cloud. Overall, I was glad I had made this place my first stop, thanks to the wonderful service, great low prices, and rewards program. Definitely make this shop a priority to visit if you’re ever in the area!
Next in our journey through Fort Worth’s local vape shops is Steamist. Google rates them a 4.8 out of over 160 reviews, so as I enjoy a shop title that’s also a play on words, I headed over to see this misty shop of steam. When I walked through the doors, I was struck by how immaculately clean the place was. There was white EVERYWHERE, from the walls to the seats, to the floor to the counters! Bright white lights only enhanced this spotless vape shop, and I was almost intimidated to walk any further into the room. What also struck me is just how far back this shop went, with three square tables and four chairs around each table, as well as an extremely long counter reaching from the front of the shop all the way to the back. I walked slowly past the hardware, perfectly displayed behind a glass case that stretched for nearly half of the counter. Pen style mods, full starter kits, squonkers, and various tanks and mods from Aspire, Smok, Vaporesso, and Wismec brightly shone under the bright white lights. Their replacement coils were perfectly displayed on the wall, each brand fully stocked and waiting to be sold. And the e-juice! Oh, the e-juice display was magnificent. Brand favorites like Jam Monster, Chubby Bubble Vapes, and Humble Juice Co. were well-stocked, as well as a huge selection of in-house juice, ready and waiting to delight the vape taste buds of the cloud-hungry customer. The staff was fantastic, asking me if I needed help finding anything, if I would like to sample anything (to which I of course agreed), and made sure I was taken care of. This shop was one of the spacious, modern, and brightly lit, something I love to find in vape shops. The variety was incredible and I easily saw why so many people go out of their way to come here. If you’re ever in the Fort Worth Area and would like some VIP treatment, head over to Steamist and see for yourself why this place has so many awesome reviews.
3. EZFumes 2 Vape Store
Third in our quest for local vape shops in Fort Worth is EZFumes 2 Vape Store. Now I was a little worried about this shop since it’s listed as a tobacco store, and sometimes these kinds of shops sell more tobacco than vape products, but with a Google rating of 4.7 out of nearly 180 reviews, I knew I had to stop by. The shop was easy enough to locate, with a nice big sign in the front and a parking lot for customers located near the side entrance. The shop looked a little small, but I know that appearances can be deceiving, so I headed inside to check it out. The huge display rack of e-liquids right as you walk in the door was eye-catching and very tempting. They had classics like Burst eJuice and Vapetasia, along with the usual Naked 100 and Milkman. I loved that this shop carried a nice variety of e-liquids that was more extensive than some shops I’ve visited! They had a large selection of replacement coils, Juul pods, battery chargers, and glassware. Their hardware selection wasn’t too crazy, offering a few pen style mods and single battery starter kits, which is great if you’re just looking for something to switch from smoking to vaping. But my favorite part of the shop was that they had a little candy display, nothing too crazy (although I couldn’t resist buying a Snickers bar and a pack of Starburst). Sometimes you can get the craving for actual sustenance instead of just vaping (I bought a bottle of Burst eJuice to compare it to my pack of Starburst), so it was a nice to just have the option for a snack as you bought your vaping supplies. Their hours were pretty late, so if you’re looking for a place to stop in or if you have an e-juice crisis, this is the place to go. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and informative, and it was nice to visit a place where there was friendly customer service, a ton of vaping supplies, and a couple of snacks for the hangry vapers.
4. Vapor Salon
We’re nearly there! Number four in our Fort Worth vape shop guide is Vapor Salon. Number four in our Fort Worth vape shop guide is Vapor Salon. I liked the name since I think of a hair salon and love the spa pampering I get there, so I headed over in hopes of getting the same treatment. Google rates them a 4.7 out of nearly 80 reviews, so I made my way over to see this salon of vapors. There was a bit of a shock as I walked through the doors to see a few baby toys (plastic play kitchen, blocks, and brightly colored bins) lying around, since most of the customers need to be 18+ to even enter the shop, but I chalked it up to the owner being considerate of those customers who need vaping supplies but don’t want to leave their kids unattended. The shop was oddly decorated, not in a bad way, just different than the shops I’m used to. The walls were a dark navy blue, the far wall a light orange, the seats were white and black leather, and the carpet looked old and plain. There were a few pictures on the wall, and honestly, it looked like a converted home office. But I bravely made my way to the counter to check out their vape stuff. They had a great selection of Smok tanks and starter kits, as well as several battery chargers. I didn’t see any name brand vape juice, so I asked one of the staff members behind the counter, who informed me they only sold in-house e-juice. He also directed me to a bunch of testers lined up next to a vanity mirror, and after I had shown him my ID, I went over to try out. It seemed a little odd to have all those testers right within reach of anyone who walked in, but I went ahead and sampled the few that looked interesting and was delighted to find that they were better than I expected. I also found out that the shop sells CBD products, which is getting more and more popular in the shops that I visited. I was told that according to federal law, all CBD products have to be purchased with cash only, which was helpful to know for future reference. All in all, I probably wouldn’t go back to this shop, just because I wasn’t impressed with the interior design or the fact that they only had in-house juice, plus the baby toys in the corner was a little too much for me to handle. Nothing was wrong with the customer service, the products they carried, or their prices. Just wasn’t for me, but don’t let that deter you from going if you need something vape-related in a pinch!
5. Vape ‘N Vapor Shop
And last but certainly not least, we have Vape ‘N Vapor Shop as our final vape shop stop in Fort Worth. Now this shop had one of the most mind-blowing reviews I’ve ever seen...a full 5.0 out of over 200 reviews! How is this even possible, I wondered, when all of the other shops get at most a 4.8 with that number of reviews? I had to stop in and check this place out! When I walked through the doors, I stopped for a moment and basked in the modern feel this place had. Bright lights, a dark green wall with the company logo on it, and rich warm wood tones on both the walls, the floor, and the bar counter. I walked up to the bar and sat in a well-worn, albeit comfortable, chair and admired their e-liquid collection. Brand names like Jam Monster, Naked 100, and Air Factory caught my eye, along with several odd yet humorous names like Monkey Fart. They had several Smok hardware options as well, ranging from replacement coils to tanks, and even a few mods. The gentleman behind the counter asked if he could assist me with anything, and I asked him why his online reviews were so positive. He smiled and told me that the prices were low, the ambiance was chill, and the staff was well-trained in all things vape related. I asked if I could try some of their lesser-known products, and he quickly set me up with some sample juices to see what tickled my fancy. He also informed me that they did in-house mixing as well, and I asked him to whip up his signature e-liquid. He produced an excellent I also discovered that they price match e-liquids, which is an unusual yet very effective tactic on drawing in customers. I witnessed a few regulars come in, and they all came in and left smiling, while some even hung out for a bit and chilled in the black leather armchairs pushed into a corner. This shop really had customer service nailed down to a T, and I was delighted to find such an excellent vape shop. I wish there were more of these shops around, because at a 5.0 rating, you know you’re doing something right!
